It's hard to believe it's already Sunday, where did the week go? Fortunately, here in the US we have a long weekend since tomorrow is Labor Day. It's a celebrations of the American workers and is celebrated the first Monday of September every year. Since it's a national holiday most of us will have the day off. I always appreciate a day off even if my schedule isn't all that horribly busy anyway these days!
Onto the giveaway for this week. This is week 77 of this little project that started as a small way for me to give back to the Hive community who has been so kind to me over the years. I hope it also serves to help all of you further grow you accounts here and move your way up the ranks towards becoming whales yourselves! I'm not there yet, I'm only a dolphin, but I am working my way up too!
I recall the first couple of weeks I did this giveaway I only had five or six people entering. I really thought after a couple months I would end up calling it quits, but it's grown and grown. This week we had 56 names on the Wheel of Names, really not too bad. I believe the record is 73! First off I need to send out some gratitude to the supporters of this giveaway who add to the prizes that I offer!

The most popular pick for a dream vacation by far was Japan. I wouldn't mind going there myself, but I haven't made it there yet. It's may look small on the map but it's a big country. What a beautiful island vacation destination! This was the second most picked destination. Most of my personal island living was in the Caribbean, so this would be a whole new experience. Machu Picchu was a popular pick as well. This high mountain destination in Peru is something for everyone to experience at least once. It's an amazing place to visit! It's 7,970 feet (2,430 meters) in elevation and was build around 1,450 AD. It must have been amazingly difficult to build the city at that elevation and hauling all the stones up the mountain! Another popular pick was Hawaii. Ironically, in all my years of island living and hopping I've never made it to Hawaii. It's a beautiful chain of island in the Pacific Ocean and a part of the US. Okay, I'll admit it. None of you chose Virgin Gorda, but it's one of my favorite islands on the planet. Located in the British Virgin Islands it's home to the famous baths National Park. It's an amazing area of pristine pools of warm and shallow waters to explore. It alone makes the trip worth while! All of the Virgin Islands are beautiful, the next best is St. Johns where 2/3 of the island is a park where no building can be done. It's beautiful! That is my personal pick, I don't throw them in very often, but why not today?
For the sake of time the rest I will have to do in list form. I would love to talk about all of them, but this post is already way too long! I did put some of my favorites in bold!
