First off, Happy Hive Power Up Day to all of you! I've been trying to do slightly stronger power ups than I used to do, often the minimum. I had enough liquid from a Hive buy the other day to power up 50 today.

Bringing me up to 8,660 total HP! I really am pushing myself to get to 10K, I can almost taste it! Now onto the Sunday Giveaway.

This little initiative of mine started rather small and meek over a year ago now. I recall being happy to just get six or seven entrants in the contest and I really thought the event might only last a few months, but it has grown month after month. Today's giveaway had 50 participants, I'm pretty sure that is a new record! Thank you everyone for engaging in this fun event.

Not only has the number of people playing gone up, but the prizes have as well. All five regular spin winners now receive HSBI units thanks to the support of two generous Hive members @alohaed and @beelzael . They have been adding bonus HSBI to second through fifth place winners, thanks again guys!

The contest now has more prizes than just HSBI and DUO. There is also some BBH, CCD, and UNICOIN. Typically the tokens I give out come from my own personal stack. However, @cryptounicorn420 has gifted me some UNICOINs to use in giveaways. So thank you very much @cryptounicorn420 and her @uni-coin project. Once you have one complete token it can be exchanged for an HSBI unit, and they can be earned by delegating HP to the project or by receiving 0.0025 UNICOINs from the tip bot.

The dog just always seems to win when it comes to pet questions. Here is a Shiba Inu, just makes you think about DOGE coin. This particular breed was chosen by @stefano.massari , but three others chose dog as their ultimate pet including @mariiale1979 , @ckjcn22 and @suisver . Thanks for participating!

Who wouldn't want their own personal dragon? That would very cool! A giant guard dog that won't just chase away the mailman, it will incinerate him. Thanks for this fun pick by @freed99 , @youloseagain and @neblomax .

Capybara

This cute South American rodent species were a popular choice. They are semiaquatic in nature and are found all over South America except in the nation of Chile. They live in dense forests near bodies of water, and adapt well to living in zoos and even as pets. So maybe you really could have one as a pet! This domestic feline was a popular choice, as many people already have cats and would never give them up. I grew up with cats and dogs, so I like them both. They are cute and very soft! Thanks to @rainbowdash4l , @rosahermosa

Horse

Where I grew up many of the neighbors owned horses. So I learned to ride them relatively young, even though I've never owned one. They are very expensive to purchase and care for is what I understand. So no horses in my near future! Thanks for this great pick by @thisismylife , @ladyaryastark and @hafiz34 .

Tyrannosaurus Rex

This extinct dinosaur would have been an interesting pet. Nobody would mess with you for sure if one of these lived in your front yard. The only hard part would be convincing it not to eat you. This was picked by @doombot75 and @silverd510 . Dinosaur I lumped into here as well, that was picked by @lumpiadobo and @angeluxx .

Tiger

These are such beautiful animals, if only they wouldn't try to eat you for lunch. Tigers have been kept in captivity for thousands of years and even the most well trained ones still turn on their owners from time to time. Siegfried & Roy could have attested to that as one of their white tigers attacked Roy during a show in Las Vegas back in 2003. I would prefer to observe these beautiful creatures from a safe distance! Thanks to @florakese and @flummi97 for choosing this potential pet.

And I couldn't possibly leave out the pick by by friend @geneeverett , Gizmo from the movie Gremlins. Just don't let him have water or eat after midnight. Otherwise your house will be filled with evil gremlins!

As always I am running out of space and time so I'll sum up the last few. A goat was a pick by @thisismylife and @gatet . The unicorn of Asia, the Saola, was the pick by @tengolotodo. An elephant was the pick by @bigorna1 , and a giant squid by @gwajnberg (why not?)

@yusmelys and @sgbonus both chose an owl. @melinda010100 and @ronnie10 no longer has pets nor wants any more (I'm in that boat too) went with a goldfish. Talk about easy! @dewabrata went with the Kraken to keep all of his enemies at bay, talk about a cool pet!

A hawk was picked by @alexvan, talk about a pretty animal. Penguin was the preference of @hatdogsensei and an ostrich by @longganisan . A hummingbird was the choice of @servelle and a butterfly by @cositav .

@qwerrie had a cool idea of having his own aquarium with a coral reef and aquatic life everywhere. I would love one too! @olaf.gui could throw his shark in there and @whywhy his dolphin!

And finishing up @gratefuleveryday went with a cuddly panda bear, a wombat from @sylmarill , a zebra by @tortangkahoy , meerkats by @dailyspam , chinchilla by @vaynard86 , baby cougars by @silvertop , a robot by @blitzzzz (no mess to clean), and Willump from League of legends by @pablito.saldo .

The Giveaway

I will be giving out one prize of five (5) HSBI. Second and Third prizes will be 2 DUO tokens, the token I recently launched with @bulliontools and @bitcoinman . It offers those who stake sufficient tokens daily curation on quality posts, dividends, and a tipping bot. It also helps to onboard and retain new Hive members. At the end of the post there is a link to the white paper and where to purchase the tokens. Fourth prize is 100 BBH tokens. Fifth prize will be 250 CCD tokens. To participate you need a reputation level of at least 25 and bots cannot win. And please one entry per person to make it fair to everyone.

I currently have sponsors who also kick in some HSBI units to the second, third, fourth, and fifth regular spin winners. None on the bonus spins. The sponsors can still enter the giveaway, however, if they happen to win on one of the spins they sponsor I will re-spin the wheel for another winner. You can't sponsor HSBI units to yourself!

All valid entries will be placed on the Wheel of Names and I will spin it four times. The first prize will be 5 HSBI units. The second and third prize will be two DUO tokens. Fourth prize will be 100 BBH tokens. Fifth prize will be 250 CCD tokens. And since I am spinning the same wheel four times in a row it is theoretically possible for the same person to win all four prizes! Although I have yet to see it happen, maybe this week?
