Since comming to Australia I have tried to get as many new recipes from people here and over the internet, "When in Rome do as the Romans do"!
Got this recipe from my husbands cousin, who got it from his girlfriend, my kids ate them at his place and loved them!
So I got the recipe and made a bunch, here it is:
Ingredients
2 coffee cups of flour (250 ml)
1 egg
1 squashed/mashed banana
1 tablespoon of sugar
4 tablespoons of melted butter
pinch of salt
1.5 (1 and a half) cup of milk
1 cup of mineral water
Note: you can add cinanim or other flavours that you like.
That is that as far as ingredients go!
Step 1.
Mix all of the above ingredients together in a nice big bowl.
Note: The mix has to be a little thicker than what a pancake mix is.
Step 2.
Fry (NO OIL) on a dry pan, because it has butter in it. (you can maybe put a drop of oil and spread it over the pan.
Fry and flip, as soon as the bubbles start showing up on one side, flip over.
Golden colour = FINISHED!
This was my first time that I made them, I shall try to experiment a little with this.
Serve with Nutella, honey or any other syrup that you like to use on pancakes, the difference here is that you can dip!
