Life is constant change; no two days are alike, even if our routine remains the same.
There are no guarantees—not even a set formula that assures a specific outcome. Two people who do exactly the same thing can end up with different results. We can also see children of the same parents who are very different from one another.
My point is that nothing is set in stone; we learn to live amid uncertainty, through trial and error, by falling and getting back up—and in that process, when we’re smart, we become resilient.
We find encouragement in our victories and learn from our stumbles, noting the steps we shouldn’t repeat, and we start over—not from scratch, because what we’ve learned counts.
But you know what? I believe that not having the power to predict what will happen in the very next second fosters our creativity, challenges us, makes us more capable, and allows us to grow stronger.
Welcome to "Inspiring Words", this welcoming space where we can share our experiences, our perspectives, or our visions in the form of initiatives—as a way to spark a dialogue that enriches us in some way.
I hope these words captivate you and that you find your daily dose of inspiration.
Haven't you ever made plans that didn't turn out the way you expected? While other times, wonderful things happen that you never even imagined?
When it comes to expectations versus reality, that's just how it is 😅.
On the other hand, I sense that things get better as we acquire skills and tools that help us be more precise, make fewer mistakes, and, as a result, get things right more often. Although, as I said at the beginning, even this isn’t a guarantee of anything—but it sure helps.
That’s how someone who learns to make a lot of money ends up with more and more; however, a random event—or perhaps not—can happen that, from one moment to the next, leads them to bankruptcy. Yet this person has the ability to start over and get back to where they were—or even better.
Taking in what might be useful to us is time well spent.
Constant complaining is a waste of time.
I’ve always had my life planned out; I like to map things out, think about what I need to do to achieve everything I want, and follow that path.
I know not everyone feels comfortable with structure, but it works for me—it makes me feel that everything will be okay and, above all, that I’m operating within the realm of what’s possible.
I need to know that there’s a connection between my goals and what I do.
¿Me preocupa?
Why are all these thoughts popping into my head?
There’s a lot of uncertainty around me, which could lead to my plans changing, no matter what I do.
Does it worry me? No. Because I know that whatever happens will be for my own good. It’s always been that way.
Our plans are limited by our vision; I choose to trust that there’s something better—something I’m not yet able to see.
Besides, instead of worrying, I’m filled with excitement when I think about everything I can build—I just can’t sit back and do nothing.
There’s a saying I may have heard before, but this time it made more sense to me. It goes something like this: The sooner you start making more mistakes, the closer you’ll be to success.
Because worse than a supposed failure is not even trying.
