Si un genio apareciera frente a mí y me concediera mi único deseo, no pediría dinero, fama, ni una vida perfecta, porque algunas de esas cosas se pueden obtener. Tampoco pediría encontrar inmediatamente al amor de mi vida. Mi deseo sería tener la certeza y la confianza de que todo lo que estoy construyendo llegará a florecer en el momento adecuado.
Durante meses he pensado que mi mayor deseo era alcanzar ciertas metas: conseguir un trabajo estable, independizarme, viajar o encontrar una relación significativa. Sin embargo, al reflexionar sobre esta pregunta, entendí que lo que más anhelo no es el resultado en sí, sino la tranquilidad de confiar en el proceso mientras esas cosas llegan. En esos momentos, tener la certeza de que paso cuenta, incluso los pequeños y silenciosos, sería un regalo invaluable. No significa esto que eliminaría los desafíos, sino porque me permitiría atravesarlos con más serenidad.

Your questions always encourage me to pause for a moment and look inward, to explore what I truly desire beyond quick or superficial answers. This time, the question was: If a genie could grant you one (and only one) wish, what would that wish be and why?
If a genie appeared before me and granted me a single wish, I wouldn’t ask for money, fame, or a perfect life, because some of those things can be attained. Nor would I ask to immediately find the love of my life. My wish would be to have the certainty and confidence that everything I’m building will eventually blossom at the right time.
For months, I thought my greatest wish was to achieve certain goals: getting a stable job, becoming independent, traveling, or finding a meaningful relationship. However, as I reflected on this question, I realized that what I long for most isn’t the outcome itself, but the peace of mind that comes from trusting the process while those things come to pass. There are days when uncertainty weighs heavily; days when I compare my path to that of others and feel like I’m falling behind. In those moments, having the certainty that every step counts—even the small, quiet ones—would be an invaluable gift. This doesn’t mean it would eliminate the challenges, but it would allow me to navigate them with greater serenity.
