My first cook

Namaste,

Today in India is a festival called Raksha Bandhan which is celebrated between brother's and sister's stating a promise to keep each other safe and to cherish the relationship.
Due to my illness I didn't visited my brother in other state but I did tie rakhi to my neighbors son, to whom I eventually said I'm cooking lunch today and he was literal shocked because I've earlier made dinner for him but it didn't went well.

Finally I made paneer curry for him

I've been living all by myself from quite some time but this cooking thing I never liked it. It is just survival thing for me and the least bothered section in my dictionary.
Basically I hate cooking, but with my medical history now it's somehow mandatory for me to eat homemade food, also there's some obligation with regard to my diabetes.

Overall it's an issue which I've been avoiding from quite sometime, and couldn't make peace with. I literally can do every household chores but cooking is my blindspot where it is the real issue.

There's a minor difference between I don't know how to cook and I don't like cooking, and people generally mistake the last one for the first one and trust me this issue is big. Because I'm a human being, I've to feed and health conditions doesn't support eating from restaurants and my abilities couldn't make me love this.

I'm learner, I can learn things quickly but learning to love cooking has never been possible and tough when it comes to survival. Is there any possible solution to this problem and have anyone here faced anything close to my problem also how to cope with this?

Thanks for reading.
I'll share some pictures of past where I've cooked nice meals. Do let me know if you find anything delicious.
