Hope you are good today and can enjoy some refreshing delicious drink 🍹 I made to share with you. A homemade Lemon and Limeade, absolutely the perfect thirst quencher you need on a hot summer day. Just so simple, easy to make and with few ingredients.

You can simply tell when fruits are in season as you come across them looking so fresh. I recently went grocery and couldn’t resist the freshness of the Lemon 🍋 and Lime I came across. Immediately, Homemade Lemon and Limeade came to mind. One I could experiment well in my kitchen on a perfect sunny day for something different . Thirst quenching and delicious 🤤 that it feel so good.

Below we can make and enjoy this refreshing homemade Lemon and Limeade together friends.

INGREDIENTS:

1 Extra large fresh lemon 2 medium size limes 1:4 cup of premium sugar Couple of mint leaves 🍃 1/2 glass of sprite water

STEPS FOR PREPARATION:

Step 1.

The first we do is to pare the zest from the 1 lemon 🍋 and 1 lime, being careful not to include much of the white pith for much bitterness.

As here above.

Step 2.

Then we gently squeeze out the juice of the lemon 🍋 and lime above.

Step 3.

Next, we pour the premium sugar into the zest .

And add the water and mint leaves 🍃 here above.

Step 4.

We place it on a low heat and stir gently until the sugar dissolves

Allow to infuse for a minute

Step 5.

Then we add the lemon and lime squeezed juice to incorporate all together for few seconds boil.

Let it cool and we drain to serve.

Step 6.

Serve in a glass of your choice

Homemade lemon 🍋 and limeade that taste delicious and refreshing. One you can also make to store in the refrigerator for a day or two. I decided to not use ice 🧊 cubes since the water I added is definitely the right amount as ice cubes melting into water can change the consistency. So I will just take the drink to chill in the refrigerator.
