It is always fun to see what a photo will look like when it is edited to black and white. This was a jute netting with small lights woven throughout. It was used to separate an area at a restaurant I ate at while visiting my family in Panama.

This is a view of a bay where we had lunch on our trip up the Caribbean coast. We stayed at their island home for a few days to enjoy the warm water and sandy beaches. The food is absolutely amazing that the locals prepare. They even serve you beachside while lying in the lounge chairs. I could go for some more of that right about now.
This beautiful area is one of the private beaches that my son took me to. It was just starting to lightly rain when we arrived, but, we were going to swim anyway, so we enjoyed the beach in the misty rain. We laughed at the weather and enjoyed it like we were kids once again playing outside in the rain.
Here is a pathway meandering through one of the gardens we stopped to visit on our journey. It was absolutely stunning, to say the least, and all those tropical plants were very well taken care of.
Lastly, in another section of the garden they used coconuts as a hardscape on the ground to add textural interest. I thought that was a great addition to the overall feel of this tropical garden.
These were just a few photos I changed from the originals to #blackandwhite from my travels to Panama a couple years ago. Hopefully, I will be able to return soon for another visit to see my family.
