The sky has been spectacularly beautiful these past few days, featuring splendid clouds and wonderful contrasts and colors. Sometimes, you only need to look up at night to encounter a simple yet awe-inspiring spectacle. Tonight, I managed to capture several images of the moon's glow breaking through a blanket of clouds in varying shades.

I love how the darkest cloud in the center seems to try to block the light so vigorously reflected by our beloved natural satellite, while the rest of the sky is tinged with a soft, warm hue. I wish I had a better camera to capture its full splendor; I assure you that what my eyes saw was far more magnificent than what I am showing you in these images. However, I believe you don't need professional equipment to appreciate the magic of a night sky—just being in the right place at the right time is enough.

I captured various moments; at times, the moon would hide behind persistent clouds that stubbornly blocked its light, only to emerge from the shadows and reveal itself once more—imposing, majestic, and in all its magnificent splendor.

Pure magic—absolute, pure magic. It reminded me of when I was a child and my mother told me the moon was made of cheese; I believed her then. Now that I’m an adult, I know that’s impossible, but what I have learned is that gazing at it brings great pleasure, and observing its beauty every night fills me with indescribable joy.

El cielo estos días ha estado de una belleza espectacular, unas nubes esplendidas y de unos contrastes y colores maravillosos. A veces solo hace falta levantar la mirada en la noche para encontrarse con un espectáculo sencillo e imponente. Esta noche logré capturar varias imágenes con el brillo de la luna abriéndose paso entre un manto de nubes de diferente tonalidades.

Me encanta cómo la nube más oscura en el centro parece querer tapar la luz que nos releja con tanta vehemencia nuestro querido satélite natural, mientras el resto del cielo se tiñe de un tono tenue y cálido. Quisiera tener una mejor cámara para poder captar todo su esplendor, les aseguro que lo que mis ojos vieron no es ni la mitad de lo que les enseño en esta imágenes. Sin embargo, creo que no hace falta tener un equipo profesional para apreciar la magia de un cielo nocturno: solo estar en el lugar y momento indicados.

Capté diversos momentos, en diversos instantes la luna se escondía detras de las persistentes nubes que bloqueaban onstinadamente la luz, pero ella salía de las sombras y se mostraba nuevamente imponente, altiva y en todo y magnífico esplendor.

Pura magia, absoluta y pura magia. Recordé cuando de niña mi madre me decía que la luna estaba hecha de queso y yo le creía, ya de adulta sé que eso es imposible pero lo que sí he aprendido es que contemplarla da mucho placer y me llena de una dicha indescriptible poder observar cada noche su belleza.
