On this occasion, I decided to head up to one of the city's most famous viewpoints at night. Upon observing the nocturnal landscape, I decided to take several photos. In them, you can see the lights from the streets and buildings, the dark clouds, and a slight mist that precedes a storm. Even though I took them just as the sun finished setting, I was impressed by how clear some of the photos look, allowing you to clearly observe the mountains and the sky. I will definitely consider taking similar photos in the future.
There is a unique challenge in shooting at night, especially when the weather is about to turn. The contrast between the artificial glow of the city and the heavy, impending storm clouds creates a dynamic atmosphere that isn't always easy to capture. It feels almost like the city is bracing itself, waiting for the rain to break the silence.
I found it fascinating how the camera managed to pull light from the darkness, revealing the outline of the mountains even when my own eyes struggled to see the details. It is a reminder that beauty often hides in the shadows, waiting for the right moment to be documented. Being up there, above the city while it prepared for the storm, provided a sense of detachment that I think really comes through in these images.

En esta ocasión decidí subir hasta uno de los miradores más famosos de la ciudad por la noche. Al observar el paisaje nocturno de la ciudad, decidí tomar varias fotos. En ellas se pueden apreciar las luces de las calles y edificios, las nubes oscuras y una ligera neblina que precede a la tormenta. A pesar de que las tomé justo cuando el sol terminó de ocultarse, me impresionó cómo algunas fotos se ven muy claras y se puede observar con nitidez las montañas y el cielo. Hay un desafío único en fotografiar de noche, especialmente cuando el clima está a punto de cambiar.
