Hello Foodies!
Rava (Semolina) Idli is one of the healthiest breakfast options that I know of. It’s popular breakfast food in the Southern parts of the country. It’s a variation of the traditional Rice Idli but is made using semolina as the main ingredient instead of Rice and Dal. It’s an instant recipe, unlike the usual Rice Idli, which requires no fermentation or soaking. The batter is made by just tempering the ingredients & then mixing them up with yogurt.
It essentially doesn’t even require the preparation of Sambhar that is usually prepared with the south Indian dishes. It goes well with mint chutney and tomato ketchup.
Let’s see how we make it.
