I don't remember the year, but one vacation we went to Merida with the family, the idea was to see the snow, even if it snowed a little to touch it and feel it, since it is the only safe point in Venezuela that can snow safely. Arriving in Merida after a long road trip and almost a day of travel, leaving at 5:00 in the morning and arriving in Merida at almost 9:00 at night, we went straight to find the inn where we would stay to sleep for the next day to go to the cable car and visit the Espejo peak, the last stop of the cable car and where we had the hope that it would snow. The whole trip was asking God to grant us the pleasure of seeing snow.

I can tell you that the almost 1,000 km one way trip was worth it. That day had dawned very cold, and almost all night it rained, apart from the rain that we had to climb to the lodge, the road with several landslides and accidents, but we could get there. Just as we climbed up, clouds were forming that would give us the opportunity to see and feel the snow. We got off the cable car and not even five minutes passed when it began to snow, that huge cold, all wrapped up in clothes, gloves and glasses, yet we had the bliss to see and feel it, it was an unforgettable experience without a doubt. I only touched her for a few minutes, we made snowballs and threw them at each other, I ran from the cold to the station, it was too cold and my hands fell asleep.
