La mejor ciudad hasta los momentos ha sido Puerto La Cruz donde la Banda disfruto de unas pequeñas vacaciones, donde no solo lograron descansar sino también recordar por qué habían comenzado este sueño. Así que desde muy temprano, les toco subirse al autobús, ya que los esperaba un largo viaje para Merida siendo el quinto lugar de la gira, pero también el viaje más largo por ser más de diez horas de carretera. Michelle se sentó junto a la ventana para seguir disfrutando de cada lugar, Lucas seguía pensando en esa gran playa, Richard comenzó a contar historias y Tomás seguía fotografiando convencido de que cada kilómetro también formaba parte de la historia de la Banda.
Todos estaban muy emocionados, por llegar a Merida y todos comentaban lo mismo una y otra vez —Dicen que allá podemos ver nieve— siendo algo maravilloso y a la vez un sueño poder tocar la nieve, sentir el aire frío y descubrir un sitio completamente diferente a todo lo que habían vivido durante la gira. Sin embargo, esta nueva ciudad también representaba un desafío muy especial, ya que sería el primer destino donde ofrecerían dos conciertos, siendo dos noches para demostrar todo lo que habían aprendido, para que miles de personas los conozcan y lo mejor seguir dejando huella con su música.
The best city so far has been Puerto La Cruz, where the band enjoyed a short vacation—a chance not only to rest but also to remember why they had set out on this journey in the first place. So, very early in the morning, they had to board the bus, as a long trip to Mérida awaited them—the fifth stop on the tour, but also the longest journey, taking more than ten hours on the road. Michelle sat by the window to keep taking in the sights; Lucas kept thinking about that amazing beach; Richard started telling stories; and Tomás kept taking photos, convinced that every kilometer was also part of the band’s story.
Everyone was very excited to arrive in Mérida, and they all kept saying the same thing over and over again—“They say we can see snow there”—which was both a wonderful prospect and a dream come true: to touch the snow, feel the cold air, and discover a place completely different from anything they’d experienced during the tour. However, this new city also presented a very special challenge, as it would be the first destination where they would perform two concerts—two nights to showcase everything they’d learned, to introduce themselves to thousands of people, and, best of all, to continue making their mark with their music.
Después de más de diez horas de carretera, finalmente llegaron a Mérida, Michelle simplemente contemplaba el paisaje, Lucas apretó con fuerza el estuche de su guitarra, Richard levantó los brazos celebrando la llegada y Tomás no perdió un segundo para comenzar a capturar las primeras imágenes de aquel lugar que ya prometía convertirse en uno de los momentos más especiales de la gira. De inmediato se fueron al hotel, los organizadores ya lo estaban esperando, donde se saludaron y de inmediato comenzaron las reuniones, las pruebas de sonido, la revisión del escenario y la planificación de los dos conciertos que marcarían un nuevo capítulo en la historia de la Banda.
Luego se fueron al lugar donde se presentarían y en ese momento los cuatro intercambiaron una mirada llena de ilusión, ya que habían recorrido cientos de kilómetros para llegar hasta un nuevo destino. Donde Mérida los recibía con los brazos abiertos y, en el corazón de la Banda, existía la certeza de que aquellas dos noches podían convertirse en las más inolvidables de toda la gira.
After more than ten hours on the road, they finally arrived in Mérida. Michelle simply gazed at the scenery; Lucas clutched his guitar case tightly; Richard raised his arms in celebration of their arrival; and Tomás wasted no time in capturing the first images of that place, which already promised to become one of the most special moments of the tour. They headed straight to the hotel, where the organizers were already waiting for them. They greeted each other and immediately began meetings, sound checks, stage inspections, and planning for the two concerts that would mark a new chapter in the band’s history.
Then they went to the venue where they would perform, and at that moment the four of them exchanged a look full of excitement, having traveled hundreds of kilometers to reach this new destination. Mérida welcomed them with open arms, and deep in the band’s hearts, there was a certainty that those two nights could become the most unforgettable of the entire tour.
