The next morning, the whole band gathered again; the topic of the photograph Michelle had received—along with the message THE NEXT PROJECT HAS ALREADY BEGUN—was still on everyone's minds. The producer placed several folders on the table and remarked, "We have to present a concept next week, so we’re starting from scratch." They exchanged glances, realizing it was time to get back to work. The producer began showing ideas the company had sent overnight—visual references, potential stage setups, musical concepts, and technology-related proposals.
Everything was going smoothly until Michelle pointed to one of the photographs. It showed a completely dark stage surrounded by massive screens—the very same image she had been shown previously. It was an exact match, depicting the band walking toward the stage hours before a concert, featuring virtually identical screen designs. The producer noted, "That’s impossible; we only received that proposal this morning." Everyone was unsettled, realizing someone already knew what the project would look like; a heavy silence fell over the room as the producer opened a digital folder. "Let's review all the files," he said, though everything appeared to be in order.
Then they found a document titled PROYECTO_NUEVO_V7; they exchanged glances, realizing it had been created just three days prior. Upon opening it, the first page displayed a single phrase: THERE IS NO NEED TO KNOW WHO STARTED THIS. The producer scrolled down to the second page, which contained a project description outlining a blend of music, imagery, technology, and a mystery narrative. The third page laid out the complete structure—beginning, development, conflict, and even a potential final scene—detailing exactly what was happening with the Band in Madrid.
At that moment, they noticed the FIRST MODIFICATION timestamp was 02:17:43—the exact time found in the system logs. The producer quickly moved the mouse, revealing a photograph: the same shot of the Band walking toward the stage, though now a figure was visible in the background amidst the metal scaffolding, their face obscured. Everything changed when everyone’s phones rang simultaneously; a new photo arrived captioned FIRST SCENE: ALREADY RECORDED. No one knew what it referred to, but they also received a file containing the opening minutes of the recording. The video was dark, filled only with noise, until a voice spoke at the end: "Now you can begin."
An image appeared showing them gathered together; the camera was positioned in a corner of the ceiling, capturing the scene from the exact same impossible angle as the photograph—an impossibility, given that the entire event was being recorded. Michelle began to grasp the situation. "This isn't a recording of what we did; they’re filming us and uncovering the project we’re working on," Lucas remarked. For the first time, they realized the true danger might not lie in identifying who had breached the system, but in the fact that someone was using the Band to build something beyond their comprehension—and worst of all, while they tried to figure it out, someone else was already writing the next chapter.
