small damage on the box let's hope the lens is ok
yes the Laowa Full Frame 15mm f4.5 wide angle Macro 1:2 , but wait wasn't macro 1:1 ? Yes normally macro is 1:1 minimum

finally there is the lens in a plastic bag ..
and there it is mounted on the camera

Time to test the lens , since we were in the middle of a heat wave here in Holland i had to try things inside the house.

Our living room curtains closed to keep the heat out , almost no distortion .
F8 1/60 ISO: 100
This morning i tried some pictures on the bacony before the heat was back again 08:00, i used the Godox LED light instead of the flash .
A dead June bug on the balcony perfect to test ...
to show you how sharp the lens really is , here is the crop of that bug
scabiosa flower on the balcony , sharpness on the flower and still able to show soime of the surrounding area .
Another characteristic of this lens are sunstars

I'm looking forward on experimenting outside with this lens, starting tomorrow we will have normal temperatures again for Holland .
Time to gear up and get going, put on the walking shoes and discover my new living area with this new lens.
