Welcome to my wintery #wednesdaywalk. WednesdayWalk is hosted by @tattoodjay.
The gravel road down to the lake is bare these days. No snow lately. No leaves left on the trees and the color is out of the ones on the ground.
I took this panorama on at a small inlet off the lake. It looks like an old fisheye lens as was used sometimes before panoramic photography was easy to do.
The ice is trying to get a start on the lake.
But the weather has remained stubbornly warm the last few weeks. I can't believe I am complaining 馃槄 I'm sure I will regret that later this winter when the real cold weather hits.
There is no snow and the fall colors are gone but the overcast sky and cabins on the opposite shore are providing some reflections on the lake.
What's that??!!!!
A neighbor (probably suffering from an early case of cabin fever) put some stuffed animals on two of his trees.
I'll leave you with those treed critters. I am almost home anyway...
Have a wonderful #wednesdaywalk! Find some nature or curiosities in your neighborhood, but mostly enjoy a nice stroll 馃檪
