Imagine that first transmission from
another world. Maybe from the Kepler 400's,
Maybe KIC 8462852 will kick out the jams.
Will it be a simple greeting, “Hello” in an
alien language? Or mathematics so complex
our brainy number crunchers will spend
centuries puzzling through it? Maybe something
potentially terrifying beamed to us in all
of our languages, “We are coming for you!”
Or something more sinister like,
“We’re coming for your coffee!”
But, I think it will be something like,
“That Third Reich sit com really
jumped the shark in the second season.
