WHAT IS COW'S MILK?
It is a white liquid produced by mammary glands of mammals. It is the primary source of nutrition for infant mammals before they are able to digest other types of food.
Other definitions:

WHAT'S IN COW'S MILK?
- 87% water. Water is necessary for newborn calf
- Lactose is a sugar that serves the main source of energy for newborn calf in order for lactose to be digested you need the enzyme lactose. Some human babies may have this enzyme but only some retain it after weaning. Most of us are unable to digest lactose after infancy. Dairy is the most common food allergen, And so many people are lactose intolerant.
- Proteins in milk are casein and whey protein.
Casein are very difficult to digest and have been linked to type 1 diabetes.
Caseins are so tough that they are even used as a basis of some glues!
WHAT ARE THE SIDE EFFECTS OF CASEIN PROTEIN?
indigestion, heartburn, bloating, allergic reactions, bad after taste !
the ratio of caseins to whey protein 40:60 in human milk but in cow's milk it is 80:20! Calves need extra protein because they are suppose to grow huge!
NOT only are the ratio's wrong for human consumption of cow's milk but it is also incredible difficult to digest co's milk. It later contributes to unwanted reactions in the body and may weaken bones
WHAT VITAMINS AND MINERALS DOES COW'S MILK CONTAIN?
- SMALL amounts of:
Sodium, calcium, potassium, phosphorous, chloride, zinc, iron
Vitamins: A, E, thiamine, riboflavin, niacin, B6, B12, folate, and others.
DOES COW'S MILK HAVE PUS?
Cow's milk naturally contains 35 hormones and 11 growth factors.
This is meant for a calf to grow into a healthy adult in under 2 years!
Dairy cows are prone to disease due to large numbers and intensity of production. This intensity of production allows for cows to develop many diseases such as: Mastitis, viral pneumonia, and johne's disease!
Photo below: Cow walking in fecal mud with enlarged, inflamed, and painful utters. This inflammation is called Mastitis.
Mastitis is very common in the dairy industry. When a cow is infected with any disease, such as mastitis, their body naturally responds to any infection by producing white blood cells to combat the infection. These cells and other somatic cells, and even waste products of the war happening from fighting the infection, are components of PUS. Pus in cow's milk is inevitably excreted into milk barrels and machines.

Now let's look at alternative plant milks!
WHAT ARE ALTERNATIVE PLANT MILKS?
- Almond milk
- Soy milk
- Oat milk
- Rice milk
- Hemp milk
- Coconut milk
plant- based milks are made by grinding a bean or nut, then adding water, flavors, vitamins and minerals. The nutrients and amount of sugar varies based on how it was produced and what has been added. Different brands make plant-based milks differently.
WHY SUBSTITUTE DAIRY MILK WITH PLANT MILK?
- Dairy cow's suffer and live miserably.
- Dairy cow's suffer from many diseases such as Mastitis, Viral diseases, Johne's disease, ect.
- It is ethically and morally wrong to drink cow's milk in this day and age
- Less health problems, and even prevention of cancerous human diseases are avoided when switching to plant-based milks
LUCKILY PLANT-BASED MILKS STILL ALLOW US TO ENJOY "MILK!"
Drinking cow's milk for calcium is a myth!!
According to Harvard Nurses' Health Study, which followed more than 75,000 women for 12 years, showed no protective signs of increased milk consumption on fractured risks. The studies actually showed the increased intake of cow's milk and other dairy products lead to higher fracture risks!
The fat in cow's milk and dairy products clogs arteries and contributes to heart diseases. A recent research from The China Study has found a strong connection between dairy consumption and cancer growth.
- ONE IMPORTANT FACTOR OF DRINKING ANY KIND OF MILK IN GENERAL ....... IS THAT ADULT HUMANS HAVE NO MORE NEED FOR PLANT-BASED MILKS THAN COW'S MILK!
Cow's milk was never needed in our diet.
Our bodies need water and that is pretty much it. Plant-based milks are merely recreational beverages. THey are for fun, taste, enjoyment, and for maybe those seeking a source of calories or body building.
WHICH PLANT BASED IS MOST NUTRITIOUS?
These are four important factors to consider when choosing a pant-based milk:
- nutrients
- sugars
- sodium
- carrageenan
SOYMILK:
- Smooth, creamy texture.
- It has 8-10g of protein
- It is the most protein rich of all plant-based milks
- It is fortified with calcium and vitamin D
BUT.. - Soy is a common allergen
- Heavily processed
- 99% of soy is GMO
- If you eat alternative meat products containing soy then avoid drinking soymilk, too much soy is dangerous
HEMP
- A great source of omega-3's and it contains 4 times more omega-3's than soymilk.
- Low in protein
- Safest milk to drink
- Easily digested
- Contains over 16 amino acids
- My favorite milk to spend money on
ALMOND MILK/HAZELNUT MILK
- Has about 1g of protein
- Lower in calories
- Good source of calcum
- Hazelnut is rich in B-vitamins and vitamin E
OAT MILK
- Has less protein than other plant milks
- Highest amount of fiber
- Contains calcium and iron
- Easy to digest
RICE MILK
- Has very little nutritional value
- Often heavily sweetened
- Best tolerated by people with allergies to nuts
COCONUT MILK
- Very high in calories and fats
- A glass of coconut milk contains 90-500 calories
- It is high in saturated fat
- Have cautious moderation with coconut milk
- Best to eat fresh coconut or drink fresh coconut water
ISSUES TO CONSIDER WITH PLANT-BASED MILKS:
- Watch out for added sugars
- Look for brands where sugar is less than 12g per serving
- Watch out for sodium content
- Watch out for carrageenan!
WHAT IS CARRAGEENAN?
It is a seaweed used as a thickener and emulsifier in many organic and non-organic foods.
It is found in ice cream, candies, vitamin supplements, and PLANT MILKS! and many other products!
WHAT CAN CARRAGEENAN CAUSE?
Recent research has shown that carrageenan causes gastrointestinal inflammation, lesions, and even colon cancer!
- and lastly when choosing a healthy plant-based recreational beverage, consider the brand. Some brands are owned by evil corporations, so do your research and make sure that they are serving a healthy, sustainable, organic product.
