Steempeak big in Myanmar?

I really do wonder how reliable [Hypestat] (https://hypestat.com/info/steempeak.com) is these days. It gets the data from Alexa and let's you see some extra detail without having to pay. According to them Myanmar (formerly known as Burma) has more users of Steempeak than the USA. According to them only four countries have significant viewers. People do not have to be logged in to count.

They reckon there are over 45,000 daily visitors, but @Stateofthedapps is only seeing under 500 active users.

Steempeak has seen a steady improvement in Alexa rank, but it may have topped out for now.

I have had suspicions about such statistics for a while since countries such as the UK and Japan dropped off the list for Steemit. I believe they rely on people running a browser extension and maybe there are just not enough of those. I only install extensions I really need.

@Stateofthedapps may be a more reliable indicator as it looks at blockchain transactions. According to them there are less than 10,000 active users across all Steem dapps and some of those will be bots.

I do think Steempeak offers the best user experience for Steem at the moment. It even integrates with the Steem Engine tribes and can show you what tokens your posts are earning. @arseniclullaby was saying that Steemit is letting us down by not publicising anything apart from posts about crypto, but we have alternatives and it should be made more obvious that these are part of a common platform. This is why I always talk about Steem rather than Steemit.

I think we ought to direct artists to Creativecoin as they will see content they may like, but it is not obvious that it runs on Steem and the post value is only shown in their tokens.

I really wish I was at Steemfest this week as I could be discussing these issues with the relevant people. I hope those discussions happen anyway.
