This story came up in my Steemit news search today. A 2% change in any cryptocurrency is really just noise. After a bad start the article does mention that it's up over 100% in the last 30 days and gives some detail on what Steemit is. Finance News Daily appears to be a small site, so this piece won't shake up the financial world, but a few more people may be aware now.
Steem is happily floating around $1.80 this week. It's still down in the mid 30s of Coinmarketcap.com, but it's getting harder to climb these days. There are now 22 coins worth over a billion! I hope Steem will join that club next year.
