We have been seeing this baby hedgehog in the garden recently. It should not really be out in daylight, but it may be looking for food so we gave it some cat food. Our cats are curious, but leave it alone.
This morning was a bit dull, but relatively warm. I have been wondering if I need to focus on my running form if I want to improve. I can see that fast runners lift their legs higher and almost kick their bums. There are some tips in this video. If you just swing your leg straight or bent you can feel that the latter gives more forward momentum.
So on this run I tried to apply some of this. Kicking my legs up higher felt like hard work, but then it is a different technique. I also tried to increase my cadence (steps per minute) at times. I will keep trying this as I will need to adapt. I welcome any tips from more experienced runners.
Overall it did feel like a hard run and I cut it a little shorter than my usual route.
On Hive there is a weekly chat show called Hive Thrive where people from the community are interviewed via Discord whilst others hang out in the chat. I was asked to be on, so you can catch that at 7pm tonight. I have been on there for ten years so I have experienced a lot.
Run free!
