Hive Open Mic Week 2: Mr Blue Sky

Due to the low number of entries in this contest last week I won a prize! I hope to see a lot more in coming weeks. I know there are some great musicians out there.

The theme from @cabelindsay this time is Golden Sun. I have not written an appropriate song, so I will fall back on this old favourite by one of the first bands I got into. The sun gets a good mention here. If you do not know this song was the last in a sequence on the Out of the Blue album that was called Concerto for a Rainy Day. I listened to it a lot was I grew up and still love it.

I hope you enjoy my performance. I had a few issues with my audio when I was trying to record it. For some reason I was getting distortion, but changed things around to sort it. My condenser microphone is going via an M-Audio interface. I record with an app called guvcview (terrible name) on Linux. It is basic, but does the job. I do not doing any editing of the video due to lack of time and general inexperience at doing that. I have enough on my plate just learning to play music.
