Description from Strava:
It was slightly chilly this morning, but fine for running. After feeding the chicken I headed to my regular haunt of West Drive for some intervals. I have not done this workout in a while and I feel like I need it. I sprint as best I can for 300m with a climb of about 6m. I take it easy on the way down to recover, but I wonder if I should do that even slower. I do this circuit five times, for now. The jog home was very gentle.
Previously I was able to do the sprints at about 5min/km, but I am a bit off that for now. For some runners that is a gentle jog, but it is the best I can do. I will try doing it every week or two to see if there is any improvement. I do not have any strict training regime, but then I am just doing all this for my health rather than to compete.
I volunteered for parkrun on Saturday. I may try getting the bike out on Sunday as I have not used it in a while. I bought new bar grips and a new helmet last year, so I ought to use them.
Run free and be nice to others.
