Over the holidays my mother made this beautiful food. I think that the recipe has been in my family ever since life in the old county.
It is a sweet loaf made with this smooth poppyseed filling. I like the way that the filling flows through the bread like a soft wave. I’m not sure how to make it but I’m hoping to get the recipe. I know that it also contains a glazed coating and some kind of nuts. (Walnuts I think.)
I ate so many pieces of this over the holidays and now it’s all gone until next Christmas.
