It all started a little gloomy with rain and thunderstorms forecast, but they never arrived and it has been absolutely stunning. I decided it was about time to start tackling the front of the house. We have lots of gravel and the membrane underneath is shot meaning we get lots of weeds. It took hours but is looking smarter already.
Still lots to do though! I need to complete the side of the driveway which is pretty clogged up with stuff.
It looks like it will be fine again tomorrow but with a little less direct sun so I should get it all finished. The previous owners had lights installed at some point so there's lots of cabling all over the place. I've isolated that so will start to lift the cables.
I have a selection of pots that are free so I shall prepare these for some of our fruits and veggies. I would usually go for grow bags but they're not essential so I'll not be heading out to buy any. I have compost and will put them under my study window.
