It has been another of those weeks and another few days off my feet due to another knee flare up. Thankfully it passed quickly this time due to some tablets that seem to have done the trick. That meant I was able to get to the beach yesterday morning for a glorious autumnal walk. It was a little breezy on arrival but that seems to drop fairly quickly. That meant the nip that was in the air disappeared so it turned quite mild.

I've not walked on the beach at high tide for a good while; I've not seen the beach so thin for a good few years. The drop off is very steep here so the only way to see the tide is high is by how far out the waves roll in.

The second lens on my phone changes the aperture and I rally liked the deeper colours in this photo compared to the first.

Lola had a good day. She found the "stick" that you can see in the background. Thankfully she didn't try to take it back to the car. She also found a ball which she did keep, it was thankfully much smaller than the stick.

Autumn in this house means the return of Bolognese sauce. It's something I really enjoy cooking. I always make the sauce from scratch and it's generally 50/50 meat vs veggies.

After dinner the dog decided to join me. She really isn't a fan of fireworks and spend the evening charging around the house barking. She looks reasonably happy here but was panting like crazy due to being so wound up. Thankfully it has been a little quieter this evening.

I had hoped to spend some time playing guitar as I've not practiced this week. Unfortunately there have been lots of jobs to get done so they have taken my time. The gardens do look better for it though!
