My friend Ana is the reason for my love of dragonflies; she’s an expert in studying them, and I’ve accompanied her on fieldwork several times. That’s why, whenever I’m near them, I try to take pictures.

Mi amiga Ana es la culpable de mi afición por las libélulas; ella es experta en su estudio y en varias ocasiones la acompaño en trabajo de campo, por eso, cada vez que estoy cerca de ellas, procuro fotografiar.

It’s been a challenge, because they aren’t exactly still—they’re always on the move and occasionally look for something in the sun to land on.

Me ha costado trabajo, porque no son muy tranquilas que digamos, siempre en movimiento y de vez en cuando buscan un elemento al sol para posarse.
