What you see here is a Lacewing egg

She visited us the other day and we had no idea she was pregnant. My young one did a boogle search on Green Lacewings and found out that they are vicious, attacking for no reason. We did not give her a chance to bite, but only captured her beauty and then let her go.

We see one of her young in the picture next to a micro-SD. There were over 30 of them in a glass where she spent six hours.

Zoom out further and you get a better idea of the size of her eggs. Here you see one at the tip of a tooth pick.

I had taken the glass outside after dark and lifted the paper off the top. The next morning, I saw little green specs all over on the inside of the glass. They are suspended on a very fine thread and move in the wind.

Take a look at the video below. She was trying to find a stick or branch to lay her eggs. When she didn't find one, she laid them on the glass. I thought the eggs are hung under branch in the wild, but they hang upward, sideways, backwards, or downwards despite where gravity is.

Well there she is moments after we caught her. She was on the kitchen wall above the drainboard.

This shot will give you an idea of how my much my camera lens was straining to get the images I took. As you all know, I like to write long form posts to go along with my photographs, but yesterday, I posted on Appics which rides on the Steemit blockchain.

I am very interested in its massive xx-tagram-type popularity. People are swarming to the Appics app with a ton of short, but quality content. What if Steemit started growing like some of those corporate post-for-free sites that now have x-billion users? The Steemit blockchain could reach critical mass and overflow out to the masses while, at the same time, the biggest social sites are clamping down on sane individuals and parade the strangeness of ...
