Battle of the Week — @clayboyn vs @warrentrx

Splinterlanes is a three-lane way to play Splinterlands: two players battle across a Friendly Lane, the Command Lane and a Hostile Lane with Decks built from their own Splinterlands cards, and the winner of a battle for Tickets takes a real card prize. Battle of the Week is a new series: one match worth watching again, read the way the site's own What decided it panel reads it. For the first one we went back through the replay archive and pulled the match it rated the most dramatic of all: @clayboyn against @warrentrx, a Ranked match on 6 August 2026, won from ten Monsters down, with one Monster left standing at the end.

clayboyn@clayboyn won after 50 rounds of play (matches were 50 rounds then; they are 25 today) and 5 death battles, finishing 1 Monster up. clayboyn@clayboyn gained 20 Rating for it; warrentrx@warrentrx gave up 20. The prize card was Flame Mephit (about 2.74¢ at the time), delivered to clayboyn@clayboyn’s Splinterlands account on-chain.
