Greetings, I hope you are as well as possible, I take this opportunity to share on this occasion that half a dozen old DirecTV remotes fell into my possession. The repair is quite generic, the resolution of failures can be applied to controls of other devices, I have only found in the last 20 years a couple of failures in which it was not worth doing, in which it was better to get another control.

No hay mayor trabajo, tiene por lo general el led emisor, un condensador, una resistencia y en algunos modelos un cristal. Lo más común en un mando son fallas por deterioro de la soldadura, y en efecto en las soldaduras del positivo y negativo de las baterías se habían desprendido (las dos del lado inferior), por lo general es solo una la soldadura que falla, pero en este caso fueron dos, recomiendo rehacerlas todas. Puede fallar la del led o la del condensador, es mejor rehacerlas todas.

En mi caso el mando que tenía el resonador dañado parpadeaba sin parar consumía la batería y no activaba ninguna función en el DirecTV.
