On a morning in early December 
By the next day the temperature dropped by 10 degrees and the rain set in. My tent protected me from most of the rain and cold through over time water was finding its way under the rain flaps on my tent, due to the driving nature of the wind and the rain at the time.
I wake up around 7am hearing the rain outside, it would pick up and then settle down in cycles for the next year hours. Waiting for my friends to wake up I hang out in my tent until its light and there is a break in the rain.
I cook us some macaroni and goat cheese with ground beef. Using a little propane stove I brought it made easy work. I was thankful for
The ground is so muddy trying to chop wood is pretty hard to do but overtime he gets it done and we have firewood for later on when the weather clears up.
