This open world space simulation is a one of a kind, though its not the first this company has produced. Now there is a newer one but the one I am used to playing is X3. With many hours logged into it I really built up myself a small fleet and its been alot of fun traveling around taking on missions. Some day I will try to get into the new one but I just love X3 so much I will just stick to that for now.

Starting off at the space station I wait for all my other space ships to arrive. I have my primary warship I fly in, a fighter transport that has four heavy fighters in transport. I have a small transport ship for docking with outposts and a large one for long term storage. A few other craft follow along giving me about 10 or more total spaceships.

Then once we head out to the next gate I will check on the property owned and make sure they are all on their way.

I come across some Pirates and they have some pretty high powered guns, luckily I have alot of shield and able to take them out.

I make a run for the nearest gate and a missile locks on. Lets see if I can get through before the missile can close in on me.

Going through the gate and into the next area I find some more pirates to take out.

They don't put up much of a fight and one of them drops their ship for me.

Using my concussion impulse generator I can take out smaller crafts with ease. It not only eats away at shields and hulls but it can tumble the craft causing them to slow down as I get closer and fire more accurate shots at them.

One of the pilots eject from the craft I captured. I get the astronaut and the craft.

At some point a Xenon warship finds my large cargo ship and completely destroys it. When that happens I just reload the save game.. lol Sometimes I have to backtrack pretty far.

There was some cargo to collect during one of the battles, you fly through it to collect it.

As I pass by stations I check for missions, but most are not what I am looking for. I just want the station protection missions, all the others are pain in the asses.

With no missions I want, I check out what they have for sale or might want to buy from me. Trading is huge in this game and having a small cargo transport and then a bigger cargo transport is the way to go. Sometimes you have to hold onto items for a long time, before finding a station in a sector that will buy them.
