During rifle season, we find a good spot in the woods and bed down and wait for the wildlife around to forget that are there.

After getting the gear set up, putting out deer pheromone we wait and listen. Luckily we heard Deer clashing antlers only a few hundred yards from where we set up.
After about fifteen minutes of sitting around, we heard something large moving around over the next ridge. And the birds near by starting squawking and making their alarm calls. Something was near by.
Im right next to my friend, listening to everything he is hearing as well. They must have been only fifty yards from us.
The blaze orange is required during hunting season, so other fellow hunters do not mistake us for game... haha
I get up and move a little ways away, besides the orange marker hes pretty well camouflaged. Unfortunately this was all for nothing, as we heard a Doe cry near by. And as soon as that happened the stomping in the woods near by stopped and moved away. We think we had some Bucks on the way and then a real Doe got their attention and they left the area.
