Últimamente está haciendo un sol muy brillante y picoso en Bogotá. Sinceramente, no me gusta el calor, pero estos días de sol me han sentado bien, el cielo azulito y los frappé de café que me he tomado han repotenciado esta sensación veraniega de bienestar.
Esta semana que termina la pasé en la oficina de envíos. Envié más de 20 paquetes con revistas y calendarios, para dejar todo listo antes de nuestro periodo de vacaciones de diciembre.
También tuvimos un pequeño almuerzo con mis compañeras de trabajo, un plan navideño de despedida. Escogimos comida árabe, yo pedí una parrilla Halal, la cual incluía un pincho de pollo, un pincho de carne, dos pinchos de Kafka, tabuleb, humus, muttabbal (crema de berenjenas) muhammara (crema de pimientos picante) y pan árabe. Me encantó mi comida, y sobre todo, el bonito momento compartido con mis amigas.
Esta semana ha sido muy movida, y tengo varias cositas pendientes por contarles, pero quería regresar con una pequeña recapitulación de los últimos días y la promesa de que intentaré estar más presente por acá, ya que estaré un poco más libre de uno de mis trabajos.

Lately it's been bright and spicy sunny in Bogotá. Honestly, I don't like the heat, but these sunny days have been good for me, the blue skies and the coffee frappé I've been drinking have boosted this summer feeling of wellbeing.
This week that is coming to an end, I spent it in the shipping office. I sent out more than 20 packages with magazines and calendars, to get everything ready before our December vacation period.
We also had a small lunch with my co-workers, a farewell Christmas plan. We chose Arabic food, I ordered a Halal grill, which included a chicken skewer, a beef skewer, two Kafka skewers, tabuleb, hummus, muttabbal (eggplant cream) muhammara (spicy bell pepper cream) and Arabic bread. I loved my meal, and most of all, the beautiful moment shared with my friends.
This week has been very busy, and I have a lot of things to tell you, but I wanted to come back with a little recap of the last days and the promise that I will try to be more present here, since I will be a little more free from one of my jobs.
