After being stuck inside for a few days because the parents were ill (lazy) and then because of rain and storms today, Daddy took me off on adventure to a land I had never been before. Along the way I was practicing my football skills by kicking pine cones which does tend to slow us down a little but as they say, practice makes perfect.
There is a construction site quite close to us and every time we drive past I point out at the cranes and say what mummy and daddy call them. Mummy says, "nosturi" and daddy says "tall thingammy lifty machine". However, I have never visited on foot so Daddy and I went there for a walk. I have to say, it was a lot further away for my little legs than it seems when driving.
But look at all the daisies! They were just standing there minding their own business and growing all pretty while the rest of the place was looking quite rough. I should have picked some for mummy but Daddy forgot to remind me. Oh well, tomorrow I will drag him back there to make up for it.
But, that wasn't the actual surprise place. The surprise was even further away and we had to walk down a hill which was fun but, it also meant we had to walk back up. I was okay, but Daddy....
But at the bottom of the hill there were boats, lots and lots of boats as well as water. It was still not ready but when it is, I think I am going to take a couple Steem and buy one of the apartments that overlook the harbor and a little pink boat for me to sail the high seas upon, like a pirate princess.
Wouldn't it be nice to just be able to pick up and leave on an adventure sometimes? Leave it all behind for a while and just enjoy what the world has to offer? One day. Soon.
