Today was my first 24 hours walking the blockchain. I feel a bit like baby Neo seeing the Matrix for the first time. I don't really understand it all but I have a feeling that this is going to mean something for later in my life. It is hard to think of the future when I have so little past behind me, it is hard to be patient when 6 months is half a life time away. My dad says patience is a virtue and that Steem has a chance to really be worth something significant one day.

Am I too young to learn about crypto, decentralisation and economic process? I don't think so. After all, I started singing today. I don't know all the words but dad has sung 'Summertime' to me thousands of times since I was born and it was time I joined in. He is very shy about singing in front of people but will sing to me anywhere. Don't tell him, but his voice is quite bad so it is good I can now help him out in the difficult parts.

Summertime
-Ella Fitzgerald

Summertime, and the livin' is easy
Fish are jumpin' and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy's rich and your ma is good-lookin'
So hush, little baby, don't you cry

One of these mornings you're gonna rise up singing
And you'll spread your wings and you'll take to the sky
But till that morning, there ain't nothin' can harm you
With daddy and mammy standin' by

I sometimes rise up singing but am not ready to take to the sky just yet. I do feel that nothing can harm me though and I think that mummy is very good looking. Dad is not rich though and this is why he is hoping that Steem will become some of the feathers in my wings when I am ready to fly.

One of these mornings means it is an unknown. I must be patient.
