A few days ago, I was running in Parque del Este. It had been a long time since I last went, mostly because I always have plenty of excuses not to go 🤣

But one morning, I decided to head over, go for a run, and see how everything was looking. By the way, it was a Monday, and I have to say I loved it 💕 it was pretty empty, and I saw people who were clearly getting through their usual training routine.

That day, I started my workout super excited, thinking about how many kilometers I was probably going to log. Everything was perfect, but it turned out I didn't manage to track a single meter of the run 🤣 due to logistics issues with my mobile device and the app.

What happened

I love it when things don't go according to plan. I've realized that when obstacles pop up to stop me from reaching my goals, that's precisely when I push a little harder. It’s probably not the healthiest mindset, because I'm already making the effort to get something done, and adverse situations just make me strain even more.

I'm sure I'm not the only person who deals with these situations, nor the only one going the extra mile 🤣 congrats to everyone who is out there chasing their goals!

We learn that no matter what happens along the way, the focus stays on the goal. I've reached many goals, and I have to admit I've also given up on others because while it's worth fighting for what you want, everything depends on how you feel along the journey. If it feels right, you keep going; if not, stopping is enough.

I couldn't measure my distance or time I just ran and enjoyed it. Without forgetting, of course, that taking photos is always the ultimate goal 🤣❤️

I also shot a video for my socials, and they came out great 😍 Time to drop the excuses and start making content 🤣

I'm inspired by EnmyMind every day 🥳
