This week has been so long. I have not even had time to do steemit lately! OMG! My week started off with a bang for sure. We ended up getting a shit ton of rain! During my sons birthday party, i had like 15, 7 year olds here and I noticed my basement was leaking. Luckily I rent. Well that is what I thought anyways. Not even a half hour late my roof begins to leak. Oh man! My landlord tells me I have to wait until Monday. So now I have a house full of kids, a leaking roof, a puddled basement, and some wrecked furniture. That was only the beginning.
When you are vegan you kind of have to make your kids a fancy cake for their birthday because my town has nothing like that you can buy! So I spend a day making a vegan spiderman cake. I couldnt find a spiderman and still have not mastered vegan modeling chocolate. So I used lego instead 😂.
I had also of course booked several appointments for that week, which I had to attend to. My vehicle of course is not working this week so I had to get there with own two feet! On the upside I think I lost ten poinds from all the walking. I had an interview yesterday with discount car rental. WISH ME LUCK!
With everything on top of that I had to do groceries and since we are still fully plant-based I hit up the Bulk Barn. I brought my re-usable containers in and recieved 15% off my purchase for Earth Day! Saving money and the environment. This sale is on all week just an F.Y.I.
Today has been the best day. For those of you who know what holiday it is, this is my favorite one above all. I have had a really rough week, and it is Friday and no one has come to fix my roof or my basement even though they said Monday! But today I sit back when my kids are in bed and smoke some of my collection, and forget about my troubles this week. Re-boot for next week!
