Hello wine lovers, this time we tasted another fairly young Sicilian wine: Siquelia Syrah 2019.
The color is dark and intense red with a fruity aroma with hints of wild berries and spicy notes. Intense, warm and tannic, perhaps too tannic, for this reason it leaves a bitter aftertaste on the finish that I did not appreciate very much. A real shame, because otherwise it looked promising. I prefer not to rate it for now, in the hope of perhaps finding it better for the next year. Congratulations instead for the unusual bottle.
I thought I'd also share experiences that aren't too positive after all, in my opinion, mistakes are used to learn, both for those who produce and for those who taste!

Ciao a tutti wine lovers, questa volta abbiamo assaggiato un altro vino siciliano abbastanza giovane: Siquelia Syrah 2019.
Il colore è rosso scuro e intenso dal profumo fruttato con sentore di frutti di bosco e note speziate. Intenso, caldo e tannico, forse troppo tannico, per questo motivo lascia un retrogusto amaro sul finale che non ho apprezzato molto. Un vero peccato, perchè per il resto sembrava promettente. Preferisco non dare un voto per adesso, nella speranza di trovarlo magari migliore per la prossima annata. Complimenti invece per la bottiglia inusuale.
Ho pensato di condividere anche esperienze non troppo positive del resto, a mio avviso, gli errori servono ad imparare, sia per chi produce che per chi assaggia!
