The heat wave finally hit us after such a cold start to summer for this #wednesdaywalk by 
Today I had to work from home so I took a stroll around town early in the morning. It was quite hot already. This is some kind of strange collage art downtown.
Another collage of a cardinal. Not sure what all the skulls have to do with anything lol.
Meanwhile a real life bird is stuffing a bunch of nest material behind the tornado sirens. They will get a rude awakening if these things go off.
What used to be a bank is now turning into a park. They are taking their time on this while the weather is good. They better have it done before winter hits.
A skinny passage way between restaurants and the civic center. Sometimes they decorate this secret passage way for various holidays.
This bee butt wasn't cooperating with me trying to take a picture.
Lots of rabbits are out in the early morning. I tried my best to sneak up on this one for a closer shot but it was no use. If you can walk directly in front of them you can stay in their blind spot. This one was smart and turned its head sideways.
The fire department has a huge flag this year for the 250th anniversary of America. I suspect the fireworks and parades will be twice as large this year.
A cleaner next to us went out of business. He left his beloved aloe vera behind in the alleyway. I thought it would die but it seems to be rejuvenating. Maybe I'll get my wife to try and transplant it. But who knows what sort of mealy bugs or aphids it has on it now.
