Here are a few miscellaneous things seen on my walks this week for #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
I found a nice pet for my daughter while on an evening walk. This is a Carolina Mantid. It didn't even try to bite me when I caught it. It has already eaten a few crickets and is getting big.
Some noisy infrastructure that is super complex. This is the El Train in Chicago. Hopefully someone knows what all these pipes do lol.
A train mishap caused me to have to deboard one train then walk over the tracks and wait for the next train. There is always something to waste time on your commute.
Exploring our new neighborhood. The high school nearby is much more sports oriented, this their football, baseball and soccer fields are super large. My daughter loved running through the large open space.
Random outlet with some facial hair lol.
An expensive 2000 dollar eel at the petstore where we bought crickets for the mantis. You need a biology degree to setup a tank like this and keep your expensive eels from getting sick.
Caught a sunset while walking home from the train station.
Fog is getting thick every morning now that it is getting cold. These commie block condos look quite ominous in the fog.
Found yet another mantis on a walk. This is a Chinese Mantid and they are quite aggressive. They will definitely bite if you catch them thus I left it as I don't want a mantid fight at home lol.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
