Wednesday Walk - Lake Creatures

Here's a few lake creatures I found on my #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay there are also quite a few #featheredfriends for @melinda010100

First we start out with a nice posing blue bird. This one has nice bright colors, it must have molted recently perhaps for breeding season.

This robin is starting to get its full red feathers. Too bad the stick had to be in front of it's face. Birds like to troll me by hiding their face behind a random stick, then when I move a bit to get the stick out of the way they fly away.

The baby geese are still around and all nine of the goslings from the two families are still around.

The little dudes are nice and healthy growing up fast.

Here's a downy woodpecker hollowing out a home.

Gotta take time to stretch every now and then.

Now for the burping frogs. Quite a few were out. This was the biggest one I saw.

Here's another big guy.

This guy thinks he's camouflage.

This guy was just lounging in the water, a bit tangled in the swamp weeds.

This part of the lake is really saturated with bullfrogs. The great blue herons have plenty to eat here lol.

Plenty of turtles are at this lake as well. They find any surface to sunbathe on.

I think these are painted turtles, I don't see the red ear markings of red eared sliders on these guys.

This guy was far into the swamp area of the lake. The water is almost fully green over there. That's it for this #wednesdaywalk and #featheredfriends
