We did our trek to the grassfed farm for some eggs, meat and milk for this #wednesdaywalk by @tattoodjay
This place is great for everything grassfed. My daughter really likes the milk from the diary here.
They also have a large walking path around the entire farm, perfect for getting extra energy out of the kid so she can sleep at night.
We got to see a few baby calves. They were almost tame enough to pet but these cows are a bit more dodgy since they get to free roam in the large grass fields.
Moooo I need to be milked! Sadly no horses are on this farm to herd them back to the milking barn, instead they are herded by ATVs.
I wish we had come here when it was peak colors. Now everything is a bit drab and surreal.
There wasn't much to see on the walk so I started looking at stuff in the sky.
Here's a smaller plane, maybe for crop dusting? Or it could just be someone getting their license.
The only other thing in the sky was a great blue heron.
The farm also has quite a few of these chicken huts that they move around the grassy areas.
We bought some eggs and a frozen chicken from here. Sometimes there are tours where they let the chickens out and you can walk amongst them. So far we've never been able to schedule our visit when this is happening.
Instead we got to see them herding turkeys to a new grassy spot. More on this for #featheredfriday. Poor turkeys don't realize thanksgiving is fast approaching lol.
That's all for now, thanks for looking :-)
