We had a perfect storm of rain then a temperature drop that froze the rain wherever it hit...

The humidity from the rain and the sudden drop in temperature made thick fog everywhere.

Even the train station was slippery with ice falling off people's shoes then melting on the smooth tiles. Now I can't speedwalk past commuters.

Beware the bridges. This one is all shiny with black ice. We all had to waddle like penguins to avoid slipping.

By lunch the fog cleared a bit but overall it was still gloomy.

A good 25% of the Willis Tower was obscurred by clouds. If you go to the top you can actually see over the clouds and see other tall buildings poking out. It takes an hour to get to the top because its a tourist lookout area.

That's all for now, thanks for looking and don't slip out there...
