Don't you just love DONUTS?
Whatever the brand, I just can't just resist those middle-holed pastry.
To donut lovers, each of us has a favorite type of donut, one may love fillings, the other just love the good old-fashioned regular glazed donut.
I personally love the glazed one. Simple, one that could easily get along with any beverage. I love my glazed donut with coffee, a classic combination. Too much topping is a no-no for me although I would welcome a few sprinkles or a dark chocolate glaze.
If I were to choose my ultimate filling it would be bavarian, but a strawberry or any jelly flavored filling is a treat as well. I would refuse you if it's chocolate filled though. Nothing wrong with chocolate, it's just too rich for me.
I could stare at donut displays and admire at the different colors and variations. It's like wonderland or a portion of the Willie Wonka Chocolate Factory. How they're cooked and fried (or baked) to perfection is such a marvel to look at.
Donuts can be enjoyed once in a while. Why don't you give in to your guilty pleasure?
