Being creative is nowadays something very desirable to be able to create something different and differentiate, in a world in which there are few really original things. The advantages of being creative are many.
There are some effective techniques that I describe here to develop, train and enhance creativity and are easy to implement (and that I have been using for a long time, both in my personal and professional life).
An important point to be able to develop creativity is the environment and the circumstances. Tension, pressure, fear, stress and similar situations do not help ideas flow freely.
Organizations that want creative people in their ranks should try to create this friendly work environment. Google, Facebook Microsoft and many others do it by putting or allowing to put different spreads, pool tables, etc. Objects are not as important anyway (which will be used or not) but the philosophy that transmits the company with them.
Children have that capacity and that is why they are so creative, because just seeing something, they question everything and there are a thousand and one ways to give other uses, to "play".
A box, for example, gives much more of itself and allows the imagination to fly more than a concrete toy. As we grow up, we lose that tendency to discover everything or express different ideas out of fear of what others will say.
