Introduction

I'm behind on my food posts. Here I am again. Today, I will be sharing my experience eating out at Ramen Mob. I ate here a about two weeks ago with my cousin after we watched the Beehive movie which was a super nice action movie. I have to say I like their name they made the E like noodles and the top of the o. I'm still not sure the meaning behind the their name though.

Ramen Mob

Ramen Mob is a small restaurant chain in Malaysia that specializes in Japanese food specialized towards Ramen. They also have other dishes like Donburi, Mazesoba, Karage etc. There is no Sashimi here though. Anyways I will share pictures of the whole menu below. You can see they have pretty high google reviews at almost 5 stars over 753 reviews. Honestly, I went there and I feel the reviews are pretty genuine reviews because there was no discount or freebies given by giving good reviews. Sometimes restaurants will do this!

Ambience

The place was very spacious. It was on the first floor so it did have a view through the window. The place was well decorated. The furniture was nice and comfortable. It was definitely a great place to have a nice warm ramen and have some friends to chit chat with.

Food

Below you can see all the food photos. For the appetizer, we got the chashu with cheese tomago. This was an interesting appetizer as it's something I've never seen before. I really enjoyed this appetizer and glad I was willing to try it. It was super soft and delicious with that nice creamyness from the cheese. It was an interesting combination but they made it work out. I had the Aka Ramen which is spicy miso soup base with iced green tea while my cousin had the shiro which is the creamy pork broth soup base with hot green tea. We also ended up doing extra adds ons like I had extra noodles and he had extra pork.

Concluding Thoughts

The bill came out at RM105.80 which is 22 USD. I paid this time around. I want to say this is kind of a middle upper price for Ramen. It's kind of in between average and premium price since there's some places more expensive like Ippudo. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience here. The service was on point, the food was great and the atmosphere of the place was great. It's definitely a top place to get Ramen in Malaysia!
