The Young Gods are a Swiss trio from Fribourg. They formed in 1985 and have released 13 studio albums to date. They are highly regarded in the alternative and avant-garde scenes, particularly in Europe, for their original approach to industrial music.
With their pioneering use of samplers for guitar and orchestral elements in the 1980s, they had a strong influence on the development of industrial, noise, and later similar genres.
The song “Hey Amour” is from their latest album, Appear Disappear, which was released in July last year.
