What a crazy year it has been, what do you say? We haven't seen any aliens yet, but everything else, yes.
This is the last #beertasting of the year, to quickly recap, I've written 51 #beertasting posts, on average tasted 2 new beers in each post, huh...
This is a beer tasting from yesterday, we were in Trsat Fortress in Rijeka, Croatia, a lovely place with a New Year's atmosphere. I came across a Slovenian beer that will be suitable for the 287th #beersaturday!

Reset Froggy American IPA
Brewed by Reset Brewery, Bre啪ice, Slovenia.
Bottle, 0.33 l, alcohol 5.6%, 76 IBU. It's an American IPA style, bitter and fruitier than classic IPA.
What do the Master Brewers say?
India Pale Ale in the American style. As we pour into the glass we are greeted by intense citrus aromas of grapefruit, orange, melon, and lemongrass that continue into the taste. The smooth, bready body is enhanced by a delicate caramel note that balances nicely with the intense bitterness and hops flavors of Amarillo, Simcoe, and Citra.
Nice. Now that I read about this beer, I notice that it has a very high IBU - 76.
The beer is golden in color, with a lot of frothy head which disappears very slowly. I smell hops and lemons. The first sip goes down the throat nicely, and there is bitterness on top but not so strong, while citrus and tropical fruit aromas develop, the malt sweetness is more in the background.
The bitterness and citrus flavors linger on in the aftertaste and only after a while does it all slowly fade away.
Very drinkable and very tasty. It supposedly winters, but at 14 degrees Celsius there is no cold, just rain, which is just right for a cold beer.
It is also available here, so it will reign in my fridge for a while.
