Up early and at the dive shop this morning. The staff need paying so they can continue to survive through this trying time. We are still not able to operate but we have been looking after our guys as without funds they simply can not buy food or pay their bills.
I am growing in confidence that we will be able to resume operations in some shape or form soon and have been having more and more conversations both in person and theough e mail with people eager to start diving again or do diving courses. As things opened up recently I was pleasantly surprised by the number of foreigners from all over the world that have waited it out here throughout the entire quarantine.
Also having a bar on the seafront will really help as people are eager to enjoy the simple things like a beer and a sunset and we are in a great position for that. With all these things considered i am extremely hopeful we will get through this tough period and our team will be all the stronger for it as we have looked after everyone and I am glad we were able to do so.
Well I am going to chug down a few more cups of the black juice before they all arrive as it's always a noisy affair and I am enjoying the peace and quiet right now with my rocket fuel with only the sound of the ocean and the tapping of my fingers on the keyboard. Love my morning #coffee/ #hive ritual
Be cool out there guys and stay safe.
Ciao!
